THE LABEL
Situated in a small Indian town in Orissa, The Design Studio has emerged as a cottage industry where the workers, specifically the young rural girls have been initially trained to learn the techniques by the Designer. It not only channelised their hidden skills but also helped them become financial support for their families. Starting from how to create ombre, frills, pleats, tucks, etc with different fabric pieces to now working on a Bridal Lehenga as teamwork, the label now delivers apparel all across the country, making sure the client doesn't fail to drop a compliment after their test fits.
